First question post. The door tag? '63
Looks like the original paint is missing so maybe someone can tell me what the different codes represent. Looks like it was originally beige or white. Do I need to see the diff. tag for the rear gear?

Yep John, that decode info is great. I may have to pull that rear gear for a hot rod project I have. Maybe put a 3:25 or so there. The original motor is long gone. A 360 with C-6 has been swapped in with the column shift.\
Don't think it'll end up white either. Looks like some turquoise green has been rolled and brushed on. Don't like the finish but the color is growing on me.
I got the bed pulled yesterday morning- with a tip I picked up on the site. I cut the bolt heads off instead of fighting them from below. Figure some new bolts will be worth the price.
Now I have access to the frame and driveshaft repairs. Also with the axle flipped on the springs, the shocks look way too flat to me. May have to lower the axle mounts some. Probably have the rear frame and axle blasted while it's apart. Maybe I'll use some Hammertone paint on those. Sure like the look.
I'll post some pics when I figure out where to upload them.
