I'm swapping the 4.0 engine out of a '92 Explorer. Got a question if someone can help. The engine that I'm putting in is a '96 model 4.0. I've swapped the upper intake and the wiring harness out so that everything mates up when I drop it in. The '92 has a low oil sensor on the side of the pan and the '96 does not. if I disconnect that sensor, will it keep the engine from running due to it not sensing oil, or will the oil light just stay on?? I'm kinda new at this, so any info will be a great help.
