Diesel conversions
I am wondering if anyone has any information about putting a new powerstroke/automatic combo in my 78 F250 Supercab longbox 4x4. Any problems concerning exhaust, mounts, etc. I'm hoping to do this as soon as I locate a good motor tranny turbo computer harnesses etc from a donor truck. If anyone knows of major complications with this plan, let me know. I love this site. My wife already complains about the amount of time I spend on Ebay.....

Diesel conversions
I spent alot of time looking into converting a 79. What I came up with is it would be alot easier to use a cummins. If you use a manual trans you can use a chevy bell houseing and you don't have to deal with a computer. Don't use a dodge engine because they are computer controlled you need to find an industrial or farm engine. That is what stopped me the engine really hold there value.
