shocks or struts???

shocks or struts???
ok i want to replace the shocks in my 03 expy but, when i tried to order them all they listed is struts. i thought the expy used shocks? i have been under there plaenty of times, they just look like regular shocks. is the strut thing a misprint?? they want 120.00 each.

Shocks. Struts usually are encircled by a coil spring. You would also see strut towers under the hood, just inboard of the wheels. $120 each? Youtch. Does your Expy have LLS? If not, look at Edelbrock IAS or Bilsteins. New shocks are on my to-do list for my 1999, probably Bilsteins.
