bogging down
for those of you who read my post a few weeks ago about my truck 'bogging' down, heres the update
replaced everything ignition ( except the actual distributer ) this made a difference but did not cure the problem. so fuel lines where good, fuel tank selector was good, fuel filter good, only one thing left, rebuild the carb, done that two days ago, problem almost completely cured. now she will stumble away from a standstill ( around 900 to 1100 revs ) then takes off like a good 'n', also have an occasional carb fart when stepped on .
so it looks like an Edelbrock carb and intake when my wallet gets over christmas.
for those of you who offered advice THANK YOU, even if it didn't relate to my problem exactly I am now a wiser ford owner
