95 powerstroke info?
I am looking to buy a 1995 350 powerstroke. Does anyone have and buyer beware item to let me know to watch out for. Truck has automatic tranny. Also has banks turbo charger,computer up grade, and tranny up grade. Truck just turned 97000 miles. Im looking for info of any kind. Thanks

Sounds like a decent truck........ if possible check for maintance records. Also, check intake tube, see if its been suckin dirt?? Alot of Banks kits just come with a POC K&N filter insert.

Check the "usual" used car stuff, and ask the seller if he's kept up the supplimental coolant addative. Make sure it doesn't smoke. A little blueish smoke on cold start is ok, and so is some black smoke when you are hard on the throttle.
Since the truck is already modified...make sure a set of gauges (EGT, Boost, trans temp) is already installed. If he's modified without gauges don't even risk it.
