Broken Gas Pedal

The gas pedal linkage on my 75 F-100 fatigued and broke at the firewall. I checked all my catalogs and several websites but can only find the plastic pedal, not the linkage assembly. Does anyone know where to find a new gas pedal or am I stuck with a junkyard or fabricating a new one? I did a search but surprisingly had no luck on this topic. I must be spending too much time with the gas pedal on the floor!

what actually broke? The hinge on the firewall or the cable?

It was the "pot metal" hinge support that bolts to the firewall.

If you can't find one at the boneyard it shouldn't be to hard to fab one up witha couple of pieces of flatstock.
