Need help with HEAT/AC

Hey ya'll...got a strange probelem with the Expy. I have a 99 Eddie Bauer with the automatic temp controls, and for some reason when its in auto, it won't switch over from the defroster, and it only blows cold air, no matter what I have the temp set at. Is this because of the dreaded defroster blending door, or is it something else?

if you turn on the rear heat and that blows hot air and the front blows cold then you have a blend door problem.

Yep, the back heat blows nice and warm. Have to see whats going on with the blend door.

The defrost vents are the default vents, before you jump for the blend door check that the syste, is getting vacuum. I had the same problem and found a broked vacuum line by the battery right by the starter solonoid.
