It depends on the configuration of the truck, generally. In '90, there were 3 factory tank sizes used: 16.5gal, 18.2gal and 19gal. SWB (supercab and reg cab) models all had a 16.5 front and 18.2 rear, whereas LWB models all had 19 in the front and 18.2 in the rear. F250s on up also had a 22gal tank thrown into the mix. I imagine it was similar in '87.
