Mystery Module
Does anyone have any information about the electronic module located behind the dash panel on driver's side. It seem to be connected to the ignition coil and the vacuum modulator valve on the left valve cover and controls the anti dieseling solenoid I believe. Need some data and/or schematic or source thereof. Any help or comments would be appreciated.....
it is actually under the dashboard inside the truck??
What colour is it and where is it mounted ?
I've checked my book and see nothing like you're describing.

My seat belt buzzer box is red on both my trucks.
I believe this guy has found some sort of secret tracking device. I think the government is watching him. We should be careful, we could be dragged into this conspiracy!
Honestly, I've spent some time under the dash and I have no idea what this guy has dug up but, his explanation is a hum dinger!

You may be right. A lot of black helicopters have been flying around the house lately. It's just my luck to have a "one-of" truck. When I had this truck apart for resto, I traced the harness out and it does drive the vacuum solenoid on the left valve cover. It is apparent the module was from the factory. This truck was a basket case when I got it. Everything on it was worn out but the sheet metal was good so it became a winter project. Fixed and solved all problems except this one. Nobody has ever heard of this mystery module and I must have the only truck in the universe with it. If I had a scanner I could show you what it looks like. Oh well.....thanks anyway.

What is the calibration code for that truck.
It should be on a white sticker stuck to one of the valve covers.
I'll see if it shows up in the vacuum diagrams.
I just need the calibration code to know where to look.
