Does anyone here have part numbers/pricing/availability for the oem gray leather seat covers for a 94 bronco xlt??? I really don't wanna go the aftermarket route, unless its something like recaro, buts thats out of my price range, and the quotes I have gotten locally to redo the front seats are ridiculous.
your best bet is ebay, as gray is fairly common, however there is online places that make vehicle specific replacements, the cheapest i found was $250 for both front buckets, and $250 for back seat. Even if you did find some left at a dealership, they would probably cost more than that
I have scoured ebay, cant find them, I dont want any aftermarket stuff, I am looking for original oem gray leather covers, where can I get them (at any price). How much is dealer price on these, and are they still available?
can't get them from dealerships anymore. Ebay just had the entire gray interior including all 3 seats for sale last week. As i said grey is fairlly commojn on Ebay unlike tan. The aftermarket seat covers i was referring to are exactlly like the OEM ones, you can get them in all leather all vinel, or a combination of the 2. You take your old ones off and put the new ones on.
I am looking to change my seats to leather as well. I have cloth right now. Is it possible to change them to leather with those seat covers you mentioned? Where did you find those seat covers for $250 Masseysbronco? Thanks!
I find the 1991 front buckets about as uncomfortable as you can get. I would like to know what after market seats people are running and how they like them. BTW I am a little heavy around 250 pounds so a wider seat is better. any suggestions???
The biggest problem with after market seats in a bronco is its automatic sliding mechanism, The factory "lift a lever" and the seat back comes forward and the entire seat slides forward to give access to rear seats is unique to the bronco stock seats. If you use your back seat this is an issue, if you dont use your back seat there are many options available, in my option recaro is probably most comfortable. If you use your back seat, getting the seat to slide forward will become a two step process.
should be able to switch cloth to leather, they are the same seat. I'll have to try to find that place again, when i do i'll post it on here for ya
Google "katzkin"
Is where you want to go to switch from cloth to leather, they told me they don't have patterns for factory leather. Didn't make sense to me they look the same.
I found new leather new Leather seatcovers on Ebay they were made for replacement of stock seatcovers by a Truck/Van custom shop. I want to get new seat foam before installing the covers. Seat foam was still available from Ford about a year ago when I was trying to get some seatcovers made.
Shouldn't be too difficult, probably get a video from some suppliers. Don't believe any sewing involved, and most newer seats close seams with zipper.
Oh yeah the cloth comes off, and new seat foam will make them look a lot better.

I used Katzkin on my '88 and did it myself. You just need a good set of "hog ring" pliers and some silicon spray. They slide off a little tough but if you spray the foam and heat the skins they will go back on easily.
