Where to get _______ ?

well, i know ive kinda asked this before... but, we should start a faq type thing. make a list of truck supply/parts/junkyards/shops whatever that have good stuff for a good price!

im in regina so... what i know of is all here.
kal tire on albert - good prices on tires and nice selection for big meats
custom creations on 1st ave north - can get ANYTHING
zeibart trim line on 1st ave north and 4th ave truck accesories basically
the truck outfitters on 6th ave north i beleive, havent been there yet
regina wheel works on vic east- CHEAP place to buy rims, refinished of course
the truck boneyard in balgonie i think? - trucks gallore

junkyards are kinda lame here actually... i cant find a late 70's 4x4 truck or bronco anywhere :S

also, one guy here is planning on having a 4x4 parts/custom shop opening up this spring. so ill post as soon as i hear!

Amigo`s Auto wrecking at Clavet seem to have quite afew older thru the newer Ford trucks. Buck`s used to have older vehicles but I heard that they don`t have as many as before.

Scouts auto wreckers here in Saskatoon stocks older stuff also. They keep the cars out on a farm south of Donavan. Hes pricy and sells stuff at swap meets. He's one of those guys that gets them for nothing and sells them for $$$$$. If you don't like the price,it's oh well keep looking. He has contacts outside the province to sell these to. Oh he mostly keeps Chevy stuff.

I tried to get parts from Scouts and they could not be bothered to even check if for them. After 3 or 4 phone calls they still had no idea if they had the parts or not.

Vehicles are chrushed rapidly because of the high metal value and for space.

One good thing about having space, is having more space to fill up

Buck's in Regina used to be good, but lately it seems to have gone downhill. They have a couple hundred vehicles sitting in the side yard waiting to go out but they never seem to put anything new out.Anytime I go there it is just the same cars.I have noticed SGI in Regina is going through more vehicles ,their salvage yard is almost empty and a lot of what's left has been marked down.

You Know there is 14 acres of land right next to the highway at Vanscoy for sale. Maybe we should form a cooperative and start our own Ford truck wreckers for Ford trucks only. Give discounts to FTE Members. Just a thought. It is next to the highway and only 13 miles from Saskatoon and the taxes would be cheap. Like I said just a thought. HHMMMM!
