I had my first little pull with the tenner yesterday. I pulled my 4500 pound explorer on a 25 mile trip, the truck has 600 miles on it. One of the freeway on ramps is about a 1/4 mile long uphill I rounded the corner straightened the truck out and mashed the throttle in tow/haul, a little over half way up the ramp the speedo showed 72mph and climbing fast, I backed down, if I had stayed in throttle, I would have been merging on the freeway between 80 to 85mph pulling 4500 pounds uphill. BSEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RAH, it only gets sweeter and you have to drive one of these 3valve V10s to appreciate the punch they have. 4500 pounds is just a light snack for your new truck. These babies are built to pull.
