intermittent wipers not working

intermittent wipers not working

If I put wipers on intermittent, they dont really work, they start to move and halfway they stop. They work on constant, both speeds. This is for both front and back. Is there a module that is bad or wtf is going on!

Could be the multi-function switch (MFS) located at the base of the turn signal stalk. Do you have any other problems, such as turn signals, high beams or windshield washers? The MFS is notorious for going bad.

I agree with above, To squeeze a little more life out of it i simply move the tilt steering wheel and it'll work again.

BTW I have heard of the switch actually smoking in some cases so consider that also.

Everything works fine except for the wipers. The rear one is working fine now, I guess it was just frozen a bit. How bad of a job is it to switch out that arm?
