I highly recommend Bilsteins! They made a huge difference in the ride of my Ranger.

I changed out the front with KYB GR2's years ago when my brother still owned my truck. They're shot now. I hear their monoshock's are higher quality - should be since they're at least 2x the cost.

In any case, don't get KYB GR2's. I may get Bilsteins in the front. The rear are original OEM but I rarely carry any heavy loads and they still feel fine with the bed empty.

I was wondering that. Could I get Bilsteins for the front, which takes the impact really, and "lesser" shocks for the rear? I don't haul much of anything. Would it be noticeable? If it would be someone just tell me and I'll spend the money for all around Bilsteins.

Since you originally posted that money was no problem, why wouldn't you
replace all 4?
