2005 steering box issues
All,
i know this has been covered, thats how i know about it, but i couldnt find anything under search.
The (i believe) early 2005 had some issues with their steering boxes? my brother has a 2005 psd auto 4x4, and has noticed some slopiness in the steering. his truck is a jan 05 prod date. I believe there was a tsb dealing with this, and a replacement steering box to a newer version with better tolerance. anyone with info i would appreciate, cause i know the dealer he goes to will jerk him around if he doesnt go armed with the proper info.

I have'nt seen any TSB's, but there have been a bunch of complaints.Mainly "wandering" and "oversteer" issues,especially while towing.These were'nt just '05 though,I believe it goes back to '01-'02.
