Hi everyone, great website! Im currently building a 47 half ton. I seen it sitting for along time, and was able to get it. I put in a 5.0 mustang h.o. with t-5 trans . It also has a lincoln versailles rear disc brakes, 3:89 rear. It will be a long project, currently it is in primer no bed yet. My plans are to have just a plain hot rod nothing fancy, stock front end will be lowered along with the rear, with big and little tire look! Everyone have a great holiday....

Welcome aboard. I like your plans for your 47...nothing wrong with a plain hot rod.

Welcome, glad you joined. Great to see another member here in the '47 and older forum, especially another 42-47 owner. Post some pictures in your gallery when you can, love to see your truck.

hey 46ford truck, ill get those pics posted first chance i get. My brothers a little better than this stuff than me.I took a couple decent shots,of the truck on july 4th.The pics are before, i did some more primer.Ill also put a part number in for a great set of headers for a small block ford in the 42-47 chassis, they fit like they came from ford motor company and they are cheap, for the budget minded.
