my 85 f 150 the clutch it shaky when u take off thats not the problem it will not disengage from the pressor plate so i have to crank it in gear could some one tell me if its the clutch or the slave cylender plz help thank u so much
It sounds like a hydraulic problem to me. Good news is that the slave is external, so you don't have to pull the trans. I would check the pedal and make sure everything is moving correctly and you don't have a broken bushing first. If that looks OK, then I would replace both the master and slave, and get a new line as well.
However, if the clutch has been dragging a lot, you could have overheated the flywheel and pressure plate and possibly damaged the clutch. The shaky thing you feel while you're slipping the clutch is called chattering. That can sometimes happen after the clutch gets too hot.
