Carb Parts

I have a 72 F100 w/360 and original 2bbl Motorcraft/Carter style carb. When I first got it it had the two metal lines that attached to the carb from the manifold for heat. They've both fallen off and I'm wondering:
  1. What were they for?
  2. Can I get replacements?

They bring heat up to the choke to help it open and close when needed. You can make new ones or maybe convert it electic choke or hand choke.
