Power Steering Parts
I have a 1974 3/4 Ton 4X4 F-250. It has power steering, but it's beginning to leak. It's been slowly leaking for years, but just in the last couple of months, it's getting really bad. It seems to be leaking from both the hydraulic "ram" on left side and the lengthwise ram underneath. It will go for a while with only a couple of drops, then boom, a bunch of the sticky stuff in the driveway. I've called around and nobody knows where to get replacement parts. I would imagine I need to replace both "rams". Can these be rebuilt or does anyone know of where I can get replacements.

Butch , I have a 77 f250 4x4 which has the same steering setup as your 74---I went to NAPA and they had or were able to order Every piece of my power steering system that I could afford to pay for----you must take your OLD parts in or the core charge is as much as a rebuilt part---and I believe that there is a kit to repair the steering box---this stuff ain't cheap so don't be surprised when they quote a price----fd :-X11
