92 Ex Tranny prob
Another A4LD tranny wanting to die. My transmission seems to be going through fluid like no other, about a quart a month or so. I can't seem to find any kind of leaks or anything. Had a flush at the dealer last spring, but hte filter wasnt replaced. Now that its getting colder, its having lots of problems. Sometimes its hard to go into reverse first thing in the morning, and then most times it takes a while to shift into drive, usually needing to rev to 2000+ for a second to engage. Then shifting up into 2nd can take a minute. Seems worse on inclines. Once it gets up to speed and temp it will do better, but still not good. I had the modulator valve changed on it about 3 mo ago and once of the hoses was leaking a little, that was changed. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do? I'm planning on a fluid and filter change in a couple weeks when I have a day off. Thanks.
