Trim
I'm new to this chapter.Hello all
I'm looking for the piece that goes around bedside side lamp.It is called racetrack trim.I have a 1979 F250 trailer special.This piece connects to the long piece on bedside.Would like to find original so it matches the old.It's on the passenger side.

Hi Bob, Welcome. What part of Ohio? I am in the Cleveland area. I am on Ebay all the time looking for parts for my 78. I will keep an eye out for you. There is only 1 on today that I see. If you want to go look, the # is 4596593009. I always search 79 Ford truck. Have found a lot of the parts I need. Have learned to wait too, there seems to be a lot of parts for our trucks, so do not get in a hurry to buy the first thing you see. I have made that mistake a few times. Erv

Bob, The wife just reminded me I got a peice of trim for the truck up in Strongsville at B&O, it is a juck yard on Rt. 82. I got the bed trim that goes over the wheel, I am almost positive they had your peice. He only charged me $8.00 for it. They have about 8-10 trucks and Broncos of that 73-79 vintage. And most of the parts are interchangable. Let me know if you are not close, I might be able to sneek up there and look for you. That seems to be my new hobby, at least that is what the wife says. She is looking over my shoulder and says our vacations are routed around junk yards

Stronsville is about 15 minutes south of Cleveland. I saw another trim piece this morn on ebay. # 4597103532. Do you have the lower trim too? The back piece will be diffrent if you do. It goes around the light and has a place for the lower trim to hook to it. The truck I pulled my trim off of has this. If you go look in my gallery you can see the type of trim I have.

Let me look at my truck, it might still be there if so you can have it. Trim is just a novelty on my truck it is either gonna fall off or get ripped off by a branch or something offroad!
