any one out there with a 94 bronco? I'm looking to buy one and would like to know some about them before jumping head first into this deal its a 5.8 auto overdrive xlt push button 4x4. I had a jeep cherokee and that thing rode like it had no springs under the damn thing, and walked all over the road .would like to know about ride, and most of all anything anyone that owns one has to say. Ill still keep my old trusty 78 F-150 .
The ride should be decent. The push button 4x4 likes to gunk up and stop working, so make sure it works by testing it a couple times. Also, the push button 4x4 usually comes with auto hubs. The auto hubs are widely considered junk and will fail you at the most inopportune time.
You will definitely like the power of the 5.8 over the 5.0.
Try to get maintenance records for the tranny. The E4OD is very expensive to replace and really needs to have the fluid flushed frequently. If you can't get records, or at least get it checked out thoroughly by your mechanic, then I'd walk.
I have a "trusty" 1989 F-150 and a 1991 F-150 - I'd rather drive the Bronco.
