threw a code

i installed the edge programmer and i threw a code p0603 under that it said (kam error)

My Sctm throughs that evry time I plug in.. try unpluing your batteries to reset it. it seems to be very comen with a programer. J

It my limited understanding. it means that the computer detects the programer and knows it's not normal.. it is not programed to be altered it the manner that the programer dose. so it is only responce totheabnormality is to throw a code. J

It means you reset it's memory....similar to the way your radio station presets are lost when you disrupt power to the stereo reciever. No big deal.

every time i try to get 0-60mph time it aborts and thats the code that comes up

what year truck do you have? please fill out signature.

that is a keep alive memory code. to my knowledge things that throw that code are disconecting batteries or stalling truck.

Sounds like the connection to the programmer or the OBD port might be loose.

duct tape it on...... redneck style..........

or just load your programs onto pcm and then disconnect. i know that doesnt help you with your 0-60 times but........

Hello I am having a simular problem I have a 96 250 tried to install the superchips 1705 I get the same code but my truck screems at 3000 rpm and wont do anything els please let me know if you found your problem thanks

i had the same problem and they said its my truck, so i told them to stick and bought a edge and now im selling it for a flip switch, dont get me wrong for programmers i love the it i just want more
