Has anyone else had a clunk or thud right after they start the truck? I have a 99 and it does it once in a while, its like, Ill start the truck, then a few secondes go by then thud..... Thats it  This time it was a little louder than regularly. Any ideas of what it could be? Thanks
try putting the HVAC selector to "off" (the far right ****) on the dash before starting it next time.
i am not too sure on the terminology, but i believe it is the mixer door slamming closed after the truck decides what it needs to do, the vacuum seeps away as the truck is off, and it needs to get back to the position it was when you were last running. sound logical?
Yup mine does this as well I believe it's in the ac accumulator. It should do it in either the ac position or the defrost position. Just get used to it it's nature of the beast.
