Which Heads
I'm workin on building a new 351w for my 93 Bronco. I've pretty much decided what I want and have my list completed. Question is are AFR 170's or the Trickflow 170's worth the extra few bucks over the Edle's. I was orig gonna stick with the Edle's cuz the intake is Edle as well. What will the 2.02 intake valves do to my bottom end torque and will I have to notch the cylinders for them.

the AFRs have 2 options either the 165's or the 185's. they have a 205 head but that is way to big. the 165's on a stock 302 made 70hp over stock now im not sure if they would be to small for a 5.8 but if you were to go to big on the heads your low end will suffer so that needs to be in the back of your mind. the 185's would probably work the best especially if you ever plan to stroke that motor those 185's will still work. I would contact AFR and get some feed back from them .
