Transmission Prob
hey guys. i have an '97 exp with 80k miles. the problem i'm having is after backing out of my driveway and putting it in drive the truck takes about 30 seconds for the gear to catch in order to take off. this will happen for the first 15 min. everytime i stop. i've checked the transmission fluid and it appears to be full. any suggestions?

What is the condition of the fluid? If it's suspect, I'd opt for a fluid flush and refill before trying anything else. I did mine a couple months ago (with only 30k miles on the old fluid) and it made a big difference in responsiveness....still 30 seconds is a very long time, I hope you don't live on a busy street.
