I remember seeing a guy asking about the stock replacement bumber guards that he used to get a while back in JC Whitney, and we came to the conclusion that they didnt seel em' anymore, but i got a JC Whitney catolog a couple weeks ago that was speciffically for Ford trucks and they were on the 3rd or fourth page i think i assume you can call and ask for a catolog, couldnt find the post, otherwise i'dve revived it.
the bumper guards you can get out of jc whitney are not the real ford deal. they secure with a bolted clamp to the bumper. this really doesn't work well. i had a '79 parts truck that had 'em. my buddy kicked one, not really hard, but it was enough to bend the guard and break the clamp. a more heavy duty bet is to go junkyard hunting. most are pretty bent up, but you might get lucky like i did. good luck!

Thanks cowboy351, I asked about the bumper guards from JCW. Whats funny is I got a catalog this past week and there were no guards in it. This was the large general issue. I'll have to see if I can find the Ford Truck version. How did you get it? Also got a catalog from lmc trucks, they also have the guards. I'm not sure if theirs is the factory type or aftermarket.
I think i got the catolog because i ordered specific Ford part and i guess they got the hint that i got a Ford. i called today about a part that i had never seen in anyof there catologs (headliner&visors) and they had it so i guess they can get anything you want really (but not nessicarily cheap!) i will look in the catolog and get you a part number when i get home.
The product numbers are as follows: for a 66-77 with impact strip 10DU446R. For a 78-79 with impact strip the number is 15DU5150A. and for a 80-86 with impact strip 14DU7412W. I think you should be able to call them (1-800-865-4227) and tell them the part number and they can do the rest. all of those models run at $47.99 (kinda pricy dont ya think).
