You lookin to do a suspension lift or a body lift? You can get a couple of inches if you crank the torsion bars and put on some shackles and add-a-leafs. For a 3'' body lift you would need to get a Performance Accessories 883 kit for a '98 Ranger. The kit will come with everything except rear bumper brackets. You could also do a spindle lift for the front and a SOA on the back but that is the most expensive route.
a suspension lift its all most time for tires and i want to put some bigger tires on it just has some crap highway tires on it right now so any kit for a ranger well fit?
I raised my 98 4dr 1 1/4" to fit some 31/10.5/15s BFGs it looks and rides great. I used some Warrior shackles for the back and did a wheel alignment/torsion bar lift for the front. I cost me about 70bux for shackles and about the same for the W/alignment.
Take a look at my gallery if you like, she has the alcoas and bfgs off a ranger "level 2" off road package.
