Brakes
My ABS light has started coming on. On more then off. The brakes feel fine. The truck has been sitting mostly for sale in a lot for a few weeks. Last week i drove it and the e brake flashed a few times. Do I need new brakes or do I need to just clean the drums and roters. This started before the truck sat.

I would just clean the brakes, because when its parked in a spot for a while, dust and dirt collects on the brakes making them squeek and jolt. Try cleaning them and then see if the light goes off, if it doesnt then you might need new brakes.

I just drove mine after my ABS and Parking Brake lights came on. The brakes felt good, so I figured I'd give it a try. After a couple minutes the Brake light went out. I stopped and turned off the truck. Then I started it again and the ABS light went away. It took about 10 miles with heavy brake use before the light went out. Do this on a back road so people don't think your crazy.
