did ford put 400/c6 combos in 1977 f250 4x4's?
this truck i just bought supposedly is a 77 and it has a dana 24 t-case too-----shouldnt it have a np205?? are these cases direct swaps? thanks!

Ben, I have read here that they were installed in late 77, most 78-79 4X4s had the 351m in them.

I have a early 77 that had a 400/C6 and a divorced 205 transfer.The dana transfers will interchange fairly easy.So someone could have swapped it in.
