On a 1979 F250 with a Dana 60 rearend, Do the Brale Drums seperate from the Hubs, by removing the Wheel Stud bolts, simalar to the way The rotors seperate from the hubs on the front end, or are the hubs and drums all one piece?
The drums off of a Dana 60 hub like yours by punching the wheel studs out then the hub section should separate from the drum. Its a fairly simple job but when you put the assembly back together put new studs into the hubs. Its a real b!tch when you spin a stud because the splines that hold the stud into the hub lets go when tightening the wheels back on. Also make sure the mating surfaces are perfectly clean when puting the hub and drum back together, if its off a bit you will end up with viberation.
