Check the brake light fuse.
The brake light that's on the cluster is the low brake/failure warning lamp.
The system needs to be overhauled.
The neutral start /BU light switch is mounted on the side of the auto trans.
This switch usually fails from being very dirty with road grime.
Remove it and clean it with lacquer thinner & then varsol, then electrical cleaner.

Have you looked to see if your brake light switch under the dash on the pedal is contacting when you depress the brake pedal.I would check the switch on the emergency brake pedal for the light being on.You can try www.autozone.com repair info for help.Hey mil1ion Do our trucks have a low brake warning light?I thought only newer trucks had that.
