I own a 1967 Ford F100 4speed inline 6 300 stepside. I need to know what weight engine oil it takes and how many quarts. Plus, I need to find a good parts store that has everything I need for the truck. Can someone help? If so, my email is cocoabutter752000@yahoo.com
I usually run 10w-40 in my 240. As for parts, any outo parts store will have your drivetrain parts and chassis parts. For others parts, you will have to sheck the parts catalogs such as LMC or NPD or something such as that
Also there's Mac's and Dennis Carpenter for parts. Go to the websites for these and the ones Ideal mentioned, order or download the catalogs and you will find a bunch of stuff you can't live without! Also, the local wrecking yards are good and from what I can gather, there seem to be a LOT of 67-72s up your way in Washington. Good luck.

First check with our sponcors listed here as they help to pay for this site. For a closer source I have found that NAPA can usually supply alot of the small items such as brake parts, gaskets, engine parts, ect. quicker then by ordering from farther away sources.

Most Ford engines of thar era held 5 qts of oil, and a multi grade like 10W30 or 10W40 should be just fine.
I don't know of a parts store that carries everything. Things like body parts would be different from brakes & sparkplugs. Maybe reading the threads in the archives can lend a hand for you.
