Wanted to get a set of chains for upcoming snow this winter but read in the owners manual of my '02 4x4 F-250 SD that Ford says use only S-Class chains. These look to be a lot lighter duty than standard chains.
Looked at the truck and only potential interference I see is on the front with the bundle of brake/vacuum lines that go from the frame to the wheel assembly, but these are about 2 inches away from the tire.
I'm running standard tires LT265/75/16E and wheels.
What am I missing? Anyone running heavy chains and have a problem?
i have 285/75-16 tires and run these CHAINS with no problems. i did bend that bracket that holds the brake and ESOF lines back a little to get some more clearence
