dash symboles

I have a 2005 f350 when i turn the key on i have a wrench symbole my dealer says that is water in system. others have told me that the water symbole is drops of water.

That is a check engine light.

Did you 05 not come with the manual? I can dig up the place where you can download one on PDF if you didn't get one.

Thank You maybe i didnt understand my manual but the way i read it says the light says check engine.I will read my manual again.

Actually, I believe the "wrench" looking symbol is for the Electronic Throttle Control, and comes on if the truck has defaulted to limp home mode. I believe the symbol of an engine is the CEL. I saw the wrench on an '05 and asked about it.
