Getting into bed box
I have a 4x4 F-350 and would like to put a crossbed toolbox in it, as I have seen on many others on the road. Question is, if one is not a basketball player (I am only 5'10"), how do you get stuff in and out of the box? I have even seen many boxes lifted an additional 2" when installed on top of a Backrack or Track-Rack rail. Am I missing something, or does one have to climb into the bed to get to their stuff?
I am thinking of making a frame mounted step that would help reach into the box. Anyone have any ideas?
