Well as seems to happen to most of us, life got in the way of "truck fun" for the last several months. Lots of long hours at work, etc, etc you all know the story. Long story short I'm back and at I'm at a point where I can get back after the truck. I'd at least like to get a rolling chassis complete here in the not too distant future. The good news is I've got a lot of old posts to catch up on and I've got a few extra dinero to put into some "big ticket" parts (Disc brake kit, Toyota PS setup, etc.). Hope all is well with fellow FTE'rs and I'm pretty sure I'm back for good!
So I'm back yet again! I moved from WA back to CO where I grew up and I'm finishing up a brand new 40x64x12 shop:
Just got the slab poured and the wiring is in progress. My 55 is still in WA in a friend's shop, I hope to get it out here in the spring and get to work.
Wellington, CO? I think thats the town I bought my '67 Mustang at, or close by, maybe a little north, was a tiny place. Looks like I'll probably be moving back to the Springs later this year...
Lots of long hours at work, etc, etc you all know the story.
I know the long hours are not very fun, but it is a good problem to have during a recession. I have been putting in a lot of hours as well to try and take care of my wifes student loans so I can get back to the truck.
BTW, I am starting a fund raiser called "SAVE TYLERS TRUCK". Anybody want to pitch in? Donations of all currency, parts, and services will be accepted.
