Do a search in this forum and you'll find a ton of threads. It really comes down to what you'll use it for and how much you'll use it. Bigger is always better, and oil lube is always better than oilless. I have a 33 gallon upright oilless from sears and have no complaints. Something like 7 cfm at 90psi, 150 psi max, 5hp at startup 2hp continuous running. It's louder than an oil lube, but my garage is very well insulated, and the noise doesn't bother me. I'm also the only one out there using it and I don't put a huge demand on it to provide air. It gets a workout, but it keeps up okay.
