ive got a dual tank job and i want to get rid of the front tank all together. it scraped offroading, so it started leaking, plus i like the idea of possible dual exhaust later down the road. im looking for as much info as i can before i start rippin things apart. any advice, tips, suggestions and so forth would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys!
Since this isn't related to the 300 engine in any way, I suggest you post this question in the 87-96 F-Series Forum.
heres the way i look at it: many of us enthusiasts are always on the subject of exhaust. heated discussion lies in putting dual exhaust on the 300 I6, with alot of ideas concerning running duals before the rear wheels. that being said, i think its pretty safe to say that putting true dual exhaust, or even just split duals (leaving before the rear wheels mind you,) with a gas tank taking up space that could otherwise be used for exhaust, a little tricky to say the least. now, seeing as how there are many of us that have actually gone ahead with the duals, dont you think it plausable to hope that maybe jsut one person has removed their front tank? think of the odds: many ppl=possibly one whos done it. but hey, what do i know, im just a kid.
tude: ive got the leaking straps on the front. any ideas on why there of all places?
