clutch adjustment
Im having problems getting into gear sometimes. I got a 3spd on the column. I was wandering if I could adjust the clutch to help it. It has been years since I adjusted one so I dont remember how to do it. I mean I dont know what to set it at or which direction to go with the adjustment. Any advice?

If the clutch isnt disengaging enough it will cause a hard shift condition. Adjust the clutch for 1 to 1.25 inches of play at the top of the pedal.. free play... this is the distance between the throw out bearing and the pressure plate. Go from there.
