Well, i have a 1976 F250 4x4 with a 390. I bought a set of hedman headers fit for my needs and well they didnt fit. the driver side fit excellent but my motor mount got in the way on the passenger side and even if it did go in,there really wasnt much room down below. So did i get the wrong set or what. My truck is not a camper truck, although it has the exterior light on the outside, I though a camper edition had the rear axle extended. Any thoughts.
I have Flowtech headers for my truck, which is the same truck as yours. They come apart in the middle to go around the motor mounts, and then slide back together. The pipes come already cut and ready to slide together, but I had to cut the piece that goes across the top with a hack saw. Are you positive yours are not the same style that have to be cut and slip together? Headers can be really tricky, and a real pain in the rear.
Hey, I have a 77 f-150 4x4 with a 400 that needs headers like the ones FordPickup460 talked about. I need to order a new pair and am unsure where to order them. Any ideas?
I have a 77 F-150 4x4 with a 351M. I bought a set of Hedmann fenderwell exit headers for it. I have to say it was the easiest set of headers I have ever done on any vehicle. The fit great and sound awesome !
