The V10 will pull stonger and be faster than the 460, everything being equal. I own an 03' V10 while my dad runs a 96 460 and even with mine weighing in at over 1000lbs more, having a higher profile, larger tires and with my 3.73s and his having 4.11s my truck is still faster. as far as towing theres no doubt if I was to put in 4.30s the V10 would put a pretty good whomping on the 460. JFYI, it would take about 4.56s in my truck to equal the rpms he's running with 4.10s, I'm guessing the trany gears are very deep compared to my truck. He runs a little over 3k rpms at 70 in OD where I'm just a tick over 2k rpms in OD and even in 3rd I'm still only to 2800 or so.
