There was this one guy on here, Thomas, that had a coil go bad everytime it rained. I can't remember who it was though.
At any rate, the coils will allow some moisture into the plug cavity if not sealed enough. Do you run through waterholes frequently? Other than that I can't say. I have replaced one in 105K miles, but am thinking I have another (or two) maybe getting weak now - especially on humid mornings. I get a little sputter for a minute or two...a dead giveaway.
Yea, I've got a lease up on the sulphur river, it's land locked so I go through pretty big ditches (about 2 1/2 ft water) to get in durning the winter.
I'm gonna try putting some silicone down there on the rest of them and hope that keeps some moisture out.
