We really need to know the codes that are being thrown before we can be much help. If you don't have a scanner, go to Autozone and they will scan it for you for free. Then, post back with the results.
You should go back and challenge the dealer. They diagnosed the problem and did not fix it. Some junior mechanic probably interpreted a code and assumed O2 sensor. But if the MAF sensor is dirty, it could cause a lean condition that the O2 sensors can not compensate for and a code like "too lean" could have occured. This is just one example but could be a dozen other things.
Hey guys thanks a lot for the info, I did challenge the dealers on the issue and they did find another oxygen sensor that was busted. They replaced the second sensor and the "check engine" light is off already. I was told that there are three oxygen sensors in my sport trac I am hoping the last one doesn't conk out like the rest in the near future. Thanks guys!
Glad this worked out for you. Really shows how dealer techs can really screw up reputation wise, though. Codes for O2 sensors are pretty explicit as to which sensor is out of range, and then in your case, they replace the wrong one! Seems like they either didn't read the codes at all, or confused left bank, right bank, or upstream, downstream.
