Tires

Hey I am getting ready to put some new tires on my 99 f150, it has 17" rims and was thinking about getting some 31's. anyone got some comments on this?

265/70/17 is basically the equivalent of a 31, roughly 30.6 or so. I just pust some on my 2000 F150. I went to google and found a tire converter to give me the equivalent.

Well I was an inch off...but you get the drift. Play around with the calculators and you can figure out what you want, but factory specs are always a good reference point.
