out put speed sensor
hey all!!!!!!!!!!! My truck was shifting strangely so took it to garage and they hook her up and told me i needed a speed sensor (circuit malfunction).... so got the speed sensor,,, guy at garage was removeing the sensor and it broke and half is still in my tranny with the magnet im really upset
is this a common thing ? how do i get the rest out so i can have a new speed sensor placed in? thanks !!!!

At this point it may be best to open the differential cover to make sure all the peices come out. You don't need anything in there to break things... Now of course would be a good time to go synthetic gear lube

thanks but he didnt even get it out still in the hole you can see it he started to chisel the magnet out and the plastic cover ... is this normal ? i dont think that any pieces as of yet of fallen in oh dear what a mess i took my truck away from the garage not a happy camper...
