John,

Any chance I could get you to provide me with the VIN # for the truck before you let it go. I'm building a database for the 48-50's. If you had the plant or district code I would like to be able to add that to the database as well. There is a sticky thread at the top of the forum for the 49 and 50's but we've added 48's to the mix as well. wouild really appreciate it. If you don't want to broadcast it ove this thread, you could PM me with it.

Are you sure you really want to get rid of that truck. Looks like it was a good find. Perhaps a few bucks to get the gas tank cleaned up, new fuel lines and it may run. You could drive it that way for a while until you're ready for the full restoration. It's a shame having to get rid of a truck like that one. Would be nice if you could hang on to it.

Texan,

When I get the info (it's at home and I'm in the office) I'll send it via pm.

Thanks!

John,
Good Luck with your sale. I noticed on your ad that the link to your website isn't working for me. It looks like it chopped off the " Ford F-3.htm" from the link. Anyway, you may want to fix that so everyone can see the pics.

Good Luck,
Kent

It worked if you copied it to you browser and dropped everything after the .com. It would get you to his homepage where you would find the link to the truck pictures.
