Leveling kit?
New guy here with a couple of questions. I have a 2000 F-150 reg cab shortbed and the front end sits a couple inches lower in the front. I know you can bring it up some with torsion bar adj. but have been advised that its not the best way to do it. I thought i read somewere about a leveling kit to raise the front. Does anyone make such a thing? With a 7 ft. garage door i"m hesitant to lift it with a 4" lift and 33" tires and not be able to get it in, but thats still an option as i have a carport also. They also said to stay away from 10" wide rims with 33x12.50's (which is what i want) and go with 8" rims because it would be hard on the steering gear. Can anyone educate me on this? Sorry for the long post, i'm usually not this long winded. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
