It fired up before I removed the steering column.
Check connections maybe a pin got bent.
Is you alarm wired to the starter switch ?
When I installed a remote starter I had to get into the wiring in the column.
Recheck the alarm wiring.
Maybe theres a website for your alarm that can help.

I feel confident that I have thoroughly checked the connections under the dash, and checked for pinched wires in the the column. But I will check again.
The alarm is a Viper alarm that was installed by Circuit City. I will check their site for any info.
